- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I am a newly hired preschool teacher and am required to get a physical exam . Besides being extremely rude and condescending the MD refused to complete necessary forms indicating my ability to perform related job duties. She informed me that before doing so she had to refer me out to an optometrist as I did not pass the vision test. I explained to her that I am near sighted and was not wearing my glasses. Note: The medical form asks if there are any adverse conditions that may affect job performance. She is an MD. Her direct observation of me should have sufficed. But she wants to refer me to a speech therapist, a psychiatrist , and the lab to see if I'm up to date on immunizations . What a wasted day.
